Andrew Carrick

Andrew joined EdComs in October 1997 and became a board member and shareholder in 2000.

He has successfully run a large number of key accounts and campaigns across media for corporate, government and charity accounts. These include Audi, Boots, BP, BT, the DCSF, Sainsbury's, the Army, The Children's Society, the Ministry of Justice and Personal Finance Education Group (pfeg).

Andrew has produced several of Edcoms' most ambitious digital programmes and leads on technology issues on the EdComs board.

He has MAs in Modern History from Oxford and Sheffield Universities. He began his career as a science and technology publisher, and published the UK's first book about the World Wide Web (WWW) during that time.

Andrew was a trustee of the children's charity ChildHope for seven years and a vice-chair of governors at a primary school for three years. He is currently governor of a challenging secondary school in north London and a coach for the TeachFirst organisation. He has two girls, both in state secondary schools.

Downtime for Andrew involves weekly tennis and playing guitar in a band.
