Bhavna Vadukul

Since joining EdComs in 2008, Bhavna has delivered content and trained facilitators for a number of workshop tours, on behalf of BP, STEMNET and FSA Wales. She has also delivered training on key aspects of the curriculum to teachers, facilitators and employee volunteers on behalf of the Army, RBS, E.ON and the DCSF.

Bhavna graduated with a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool in 1998. She went on to work in three secondary schools, teaching Science up to GCSE level and Chemistry at A-Level. She held a number of pastoral and departmental responsibilities, mentored trainee teachers and has been an examiner for three exam boards.

In 2002, Bhavna took a career break to complete an MSc in the History of Science, Technology and Medicine at Imperial College.

In her spare time, Bhavna enjoys reading, playing tennis and volunteering for a refugee-mentoring project. She participates in the EdComs Reading Partners scheme and is a Teach First coach.
