Jo Duff

Jo joined EdComs in February 2008. With a background in educational and public-sector research at the National Foundation for Educational Research and Ipsos-MORI, Jo has also taught at the Jigsaw School, a school focused on educating children with an autistic spectrum disorder.

Jo is experienced in qualitative and quantitative research across a broad range of groups, including children, young adults, undergraduates and adults. She has a particular interest in special needs. Her recent projects include evaluation and scoping research for the Army, E.ON, The Children's Society, Asthma UK, the Food Standards Agency, Royal Bank of Scotland, Google and the Design Council.

Jo graduated from Surrey University with a BSc Honours degree in Sociology. She is a member of the Association for Qualitative Research, and has gained the Market Research Society Advanced Certificate.

She is involved in the Reading Partners scheme at a local primary school and recently spent six months volunteering at weekend ballet classes for children with special needs.
