Katherine Mengardon

Katherine joined EdComs in 2007. She has worked on a number of educational resources, producing online and print resources for the RAF and Cycling England.

However, Katherine has concentrated on the MoneySense for Schools programme for Royal Bank of Scotland, which received a Big Tick from Business in the Community in June 2009 for its education programme.

Katherine moved to the UK in 1994 to teach as a French assistant, following her degree in English Literature and Languages in her hometown of Toulouse, France.

Since 2002, Katherine has specialised in producing online music education content, firstly with the Muzantiks project. Funded by National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts, the project mixed music composition and science for primary schools.  She had also worked for CBBC and BBC Jam, and has developed and produced literacy CD-ROMs for Pearson and Penguin.

Outside work, Katherine is a fan of all things 1960s, 'orientalia', obscure indie pop bands, bad puns and cats. She has a little girl called Natacha Elfie Noisette, whom she hopes to bring up bilingual.
