Manish graduated from Kingston University in 2005 with a degree in Business Information Systems. He went on to work within the Transport department at the London Borough of Hounslow as a Transport Co-ordinator where he found his niche in logistics.
Working across the borough, the role involved planning and overseeing the safe transport of pupils with special educational needs, to and from school.
Since joining EdComs in 2007, Manish has worked as a Logistics Manager, co-ordinating and managing the Enterprising Science programme for BP. Working with nine facilitators who visit over 400 schools a year, the role has demanded his communication, problem-solving and management skills.
Manish has developed his management skills seeing the recruitment and logistics on a range of TIE tours such as the Bin it! for the Wrigley Company and the Food Safety and Healthy Eating Workshops in Wales for the FSA (Food Standards Agency). All tours have required intense planning, a successful roll-out and thorough monitoring to ensure that the high expectations are met.
