The challenge
EdComs has been working in a consortium with the Personal Finance Education Group (pfeg) and other partners to create a three-year programme, My Money, which helps to prepare children for their financial future and bring money management to life. Now in its second year, My Money has been successful in providing a joined-up approach to financial education – from when a child first starts school, through to further and higher education or working life.
Our approach
With fun activities, comprehensive lesson plans and interactive games and videos which can be easily adapted for use at school and at home, we’ve been working hard to make sure that My Money Week 2010 (28th June – 4th July) was bigger and better than ever before! New additions include: brand new My Money Week 2010 resources, an exciting FinCAP (Financial Capability Tool), the My Money National Competition and much more.
